“A man [that hath] friends must show himself friendly: and there is a Friend [that] sticketh closer than a brother.” (Proverbs 18-24)
So many people are under the burden of rejection. Many have failed marriages, abusive spouses, abusive parents and the list goes on. Most people in some way or another were rejected in relationships. This rejection may have taken place years ago but the pain is still there.
All of your choices, decisions and current relationships are made from the root of rejection. Jesus Himself did not enjoy the acceptance and approval of men while He was here on earth. He was despised and rejected by men. Jesus endured all these things and more, so that He could free us from the root of rejection. Jesus willingly came and took our problems, our wounds, and even our rejection upon Himself.
You may have been like many people who grew up without their fathers, with alcoholic parents, unkind relatives and poor despicable conditions where the community looked down on you because you were poor. But cheer up! Millions of people all over the world suffer from the pain of rejection. So you are not alone. The Important thing is to deal with this root and axe it out of your life.

Be Tenascious - Dont Loose Faith!

Faith

“Cast me not off nor send me away in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent and my powers fail.” (Psalms 71:9)

There are many causes of rejection. Abuse (including physical, verbal, sexual and emotional turmoil.) This turmoil takes place within the house, adoption, abandonment, unfaithfulness in marriage, divorce, peer rejection, a jilted lover etc. and there are many results.

There are root causes and results of rejection. However, we must overcome rejection through the finished work of Christ upon the Cross. I believe that you will be set free as you read these messages, say the Confessions out loud and pray. You may have been the victim of abuse and some may have been severely mistreated. However all is not lost. God loves you very much and you have been accepted in the Beloved. You are an important person. When I deal with people, I often hear how many lost parental love & affection, that is so essential to a child’s happiness.

As the devil attacks you in this area, God will give you Grace and revelation to overcome. In this way you overcome your insecurity and rejection. That is the great thing about the Love of God. He never forsakes you in times of pain and weakness. God is indeed your strength and refuge in times of challenges in your life.

- Faith Confessions -

“When I have feelings of insecurity and rejection, I will not lose faith. I know that God rises up in my defense. I will speak forth His Salvation regardless of my circumstances, in Jesus Name, Amen.”

Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. ” (1 John 3:1-2)
When you feel rejected and unwanted, dwell and think about the Love of the Father. The Father has bestowed great love on you and He even calls you “Children of God” and “Sons of God” so in spite of your feelings, know that God truly and deeply loves you.
The Fathers love for you is so great that He calls you His Son/Daughter and that is what you are. The enemy allows you to respond from your past hurts and pain so that he cripples both your present and your future. Rejection starts as a seed that is planted in our lives through different things that happen to us. The devil does not want to plant just a seed of rejection, he wants to plant it so deep so that it develops into a root.
A root that will go so deep that they have other rootlets attached to it. Rejection has no power over you now, because the Word of God has freed you. Your value is in what God thinks about you and not what others think about you. Keep reminding yourself that you are special and Beautiful. God accepts you so it is about time you accept yourself.

“Like a bird that flees its nest is anyone who flees from home.” (Proverbs 27:8)
One day I recall seeing a bird on the ground. It had fallen out of its nest and the mother was fluttering nearby. This little bird could not fly as yet and was struggling. This image aptly illustrates what it is to be out of your place. As I have counseled people, I sometimes find that they are not where they are supposed to be.
Being led astray by unwise counsel, or decisions made out of anger, they find themselves in a place where they ought not to be. How sad! What a weak and pitiful sight. However, “your place” your place is firstly in God, a place in The Body of Christ. The Scripture declare that every one of us should be a member of the body.
As a member, each one of us has to fit into the right place for that member. A hand cannot take the place of the leg. A foot looks ridiculous at the end of an arm. You have to find out what kind of member you are so that you will fit into the place that is appropriate for you. God has “called you”. To be saved is to be called. There are many Christians who are saved and who do not know their calling. Find your place because God needs you.

Alms in The Kingdom of God!

“Sell what you possess and give donations to the poor; provide yourselves with purses and handbags that do not grow old, an unfailing and inexhaustible treasure in the Heavens, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.” (Luke 12:33)

In addition to offerings, there are what the Bible calls “Alms”, or what is known today as charity. This is not what we give to God, but what we give to the needy, the poor and the afflicted. The Bible has a lot to say about giving to the poor.

“Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom! Sell what you possess and give donations to the poor; provide yourselves with purses and handbags that do not grow old, an unfailing and inexhaustible treasure in the Heavens, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Luke 12:32-34.

Where you put your money is where your heart is. You cannot have your money in one place and your heart in another. Your Father has given you the Kingdom, so that you can afford to be generous. Give to the poor and lay up treasures for yourself in Heaven.

“Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days. Give a portion to seven, yes, even [divide it] to eight, for you know not what evil may come upon the earth.” Ecclesiastes 11:1-2.

Giving is an insurance against bad times. When you give to God, He gives you back in abundance and overflow.

- Faith Confessions -

“satan cannot get my stuff because of God’s hedge of protection that surrounds me at all times and as I press on to give and help meet the needs of the needy, God meets my needs and gives me more to sow in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen.”

“[And I pray] that the participation in and sharing of your faith may produce and promote full recognition and appreciation and understanding and precise knowledge of every good [thing] that is ours in [our identification with] Christ Jesus [and unto His Glory].” (Philemon 1:6 – Amplified)
Though the central theme of Philemon, is the Restoration of a fellow Christian who was a runaway slave, the substance of the Epistle is meatier than its volume. The above Scripture in particular teaches us the practical application of our faith. As you acknowledge every good thing, your faith becomes strong: “And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment;” Philippians 1:9.
This is indeed true. Your love abounds more and more every day as you allow the Word of God to enter into your mind and heart. Remember that you have to put your faith to work. Let us consider the following Scripture: “What [doth it] profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be [ye] warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what [doth it] profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”James 2:14-17.
As you put the Word of God to work in your life, by Prayer, Service, Confession of God’s Word etc, you begin to acknowledge every good thing. As you do this, your faith develops and your joy abounds.

“And ye are complete in Him, which is the Head of all principality and power:” (Colossians 2:10)
This is what the Word of God has to say about you and your life. That you are “complete” in Christ Jesus. That you have a nothing missing, nothing broken life and that you are in Him (Christ Jesus) who is the Head of all Principality and Power.
Now let us consider another beautiful verse of Scripture in Ephesians: “Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set [Him] at His own right hand in the Heavenly [places], Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:”Ephesians 1:20, 21.
God gave you “Zoe” Life through Christ. This is the God Kind of Life. He forgave you of all your sins, from the first one to the last one. On your behalf, Jesus disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them through the Cross. When you made Jesus the Lord of your life, He lifted the burden of sin off from your shoulders and made you complete.
So, you have the peace and assurance that you lack no good thing. You are complete in Christ lacking nothing in this life, because the Scripture declares that all things are yours. You are complete in Him.

The secret is this: “you can do all things through the Power of Christ that is within you.” With His Anointing, there isn’t a single circumstance that can hold you down in life.
You are self-sufficient in His Sufficiency. You are now satisfied to the point where you are not disquieted or disturbed in life. We speak of human strength, but there is a greater strength than human strength. It is a strength given by the Spirit of God to a Born-Again Child of God. This strength causes you to do supernatural feats that makes you a wonder and an amazement to all those around you. This is your life now, Christ strengthens you, let the Mind of Christ be in you as you journey in life.
As you go about your tasks, His strength will manifest in your life.

Jesus Christ Strengthens Me :-D

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philipians 4:13)

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus”. (Philippians 2:5)
Now that you are Born-Again, you have the Mind of Christ. The Mind of Christ is a “Word based, Word ruled mind.” This type of mind produces rest: “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Matthew 11:29.
Now that you have the Mind of Christ, you have a new way of thinking. This is the way that you now think and the grounds upon which you act. In Jesus, you have become a partaker of the Divine Nature through the Word of God.
You now use this way of thinking to display God’s Glory and honour. When you have the Mind of Christ, you do not operate in selfish arrogance and bad manners. How can one compete with his brothers and sisters in Christ, and say, “I have the mind of Christ?” You cannot display the character of the devil and then sanction it as Holy. One has to be like-minded with your brothers and sisters in Christ, having the same love and unity of purpose.
You are now mentally disposed in a certain direction. What is this direction? It is the way of God which is His Word. God’s Word contains His thoughts, Will etc. Having the Mind of Christ causes you to be a doer of God’s Word. As you engage your day, remind yourself that you have the Mind of Christ.

“Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.” (Ephesians 6:2-3)
As you honour your father and mother, you will enjoy a long and satisfied life. This is the first commandment that comes with a Promise. As you do this, it will go well with your life. You will enjoy a long, full and abundant life.
“Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.”Exodus 20:12.
“Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee” Deuteronomy 5:16.
For children (those who are still living under the roof of their parents), you must obey your parents and do as they instruct that is in line with the Word of God. You should not rebel against your parents, but submit to their authority. As you do this, all will go well with you and your life. Even if you have elderly parents, when you take care of them, God Blesses your life.
