I am Guarded by God’s Power!

“Who are being guarded (garrisoned) by God’s power through [your] faith [till you fully inherit that final] salvation that is ready to be revealed [for you] in the last time.” (1 Peter 1:5 – Amplified)

We are living in perilous times. There are criminals and terrorists everywhere. The world is fast becoming a very dangerous place. However, there is a difference when it comes to you and I. We are
guarded by God’s Power each day. Not only that, we have Eternal Life: “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.” John 10:28.

Through faith, you are shielded by God’s Power in this world. Let your precious faith work for you because it is a commodity of greater worth than gold. Not only are you guarded by God’s Power but  also that Power is available in your life to make your life a success. The Dictionary defines Power as: Ability, capability, capacity, competence, potential, energy, force, might, muscle, potency, strength, and vigor. The Holy Spirit, which is God’s Muscle, is guarding you and your family. As you abide in Him and as His Words abide in you, great things will take place in your life: you are positively guarded (garrisoned) by God’s Power through your active faith.

Women have always been playing a major role in the transformation and betterment of our lives and homes as a community and the world globally. This is a day we have dedicated to commemorate and honour their sacrifices and patience to nurture.
Tickets for this event can be sold to men to spoil their wives and daughters or sisters but no men will be allowed to arrive on that day, unless if you dropping that special women of which is compulsory
Pastor Zubeda will be ministering to the women about “Knowing Your Season” and they will be pampered in an atmosphere where they will be able to kick back and relax for at least 1 day, this will give your mother, sister or daughter the necessary rejuvenation they need to be more bold, strong and full of vision.
The History of This Marvellous Idea
On 9 August 1956, more than 50,000 women staged a march on the Union Buildings in Pretoria to protest against the proposed amendments to the Urban Areas Act (commonly known as the pass laws) of 1950. They left bundles of petitions containing more than 100 000 signatures at prime minister J.G. Strijdom’s office doors. Outside they stood silently for 30 minutes, many with their children on their backs. The women sang a protest song that was composed in honour of the occasion: Wathint’Abafazi Wathint’imbokodo!(Now you have touched the women, you have struck a rock.). In the 54 years since, the phrase (or its latest incarnation: “you strike a woman, you strike a rock“) has come to represent women’s courage and strength in South Africa. So we urge you to invite and bring those special women through to this auspicious event.

MY MOUTH SENDS FORTH CLEAN WATER!

“Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet [water] and bitter? Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so [can] no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.” (James 3:11-12)

Now that you are saved and Born-Again there are Rivers of Living Water within you. So, as you speak, your mouth sends forth clean water out of a clear and sanctified heart. A heart full of faith and good tidings. As you begin to understand the great and awesome Power that words have in your life, begin to use it correctly. Words fitly spoken has and carries tremendous value: “A word fitly spoken [is like] apples of gold in pictures of silver.” Proverbs 25:11. “A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word [spoken] in due season, how good [is it]!” Proverbs 15:23.

All the words that pass your mouth must be clean water. This is able to refresh others and edify them. Make an effort to change the way that you speak. Let your words be encouraging and build up others around you. A timely and fitting word is precious and pleasing. Let us look at what Jesus said about words: “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.”Matthew 15:18. So, begin to place a premium on the words that pass your lips.

- Faith Confessions -

“I am a man/woman of great understanding and keep a straight course in life. I weigh each word carefully and speak only those things that bring Glory to God. Amen.”

You have certainly received an unshakable Kingdom, which cannot be shaken! Not even the gates of hell can prevail against the Kingdom of God. And this is the Kingdom that you have been translated to and now operate in. Therefore, you are to boldly and unreservedly Praise God: “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of [our] lips giving thanks to his name.” Hebrews 13:15.
This is what God expects of you, that is to give thanks to His Name continuously in your life, irrespective of your circumstances and challenges. Choose to praise Him by faith, even when you don’t feel like it. You must fully understand that you are now saved, Born-Again and recreated with a new nature to do good works. You have now been delivered from sin and have received full knowledge of the truth. So go ahead and offer God pleasing service and acceptable worship. You have now received an unshakable Kingdom. I Recieve the Crown of Life!

“Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.” (James 1:12)

This is what you have already received as a Child of God. You have received the Crown of Life. As you live this life of faith, you are being tested and being approved by God. So, don’t give up or quit! The Lord is with you. Continue to persevere with joy and patience: “Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.” James 5:11.

You are a blessed person as you persevere and overcome trials and temptations. Because you know the Father, you can outlast any and every trial that you face. As you persevere, you will be blessed with your Father’s abundance. Don’t pay any attention to those who hate you: “And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” Matthew 10:22. When the chips are down and things don’t look so good, consider the perseverance of Job and how the Lord rewarded him. He continued to prosper when his suffering ended and the Lord gave him twice as much as before. The Lord loves you and is full of compassion towards you and your family and you have now received the Crown of Life.

Meditate on The Things of God :-)

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these Things.” (Philippians 4:8)

These are things you should meditate on. The Word of God instructs us to think on things that are true, pure, lovely and of good report. You must begin at a point and make a quality decision to do so. Once you do this, your life will change for the better. Then the Bible tells us to put away some things: “Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.” Ephesians 4:25.

As you begin to do this, your life will change. As you meditate on the things of God, the Word of God will direct your thinking and then your decisions and actions. We are to live pleasing unto the Lord: “Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.” 2 Corinthians 8:21.

Most people do good things in the sight of men but we are told that we are to be honest in the sight of the Lord and in the sight of men. So begin to read, study and meditate on the Word of God. As you do this, begin to practice the Word in your life. Meditate on the things of God.

Finding Your Place…

“As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so [is] a man that wandereth from

his place.” (Proverbs 27:8)

One day I recall seeing a bird on the ground. It had fallen out of its nest

and the mother was fluttering nearby. This little bird could not fly as yet

and was struggling. This image aptly illustrates what it is to be out of

your place. As I have counseled people, I sometimes find that they are

not where they are supposed to be. Being led astray by unwise counsel,

or decisions made out of anger, they find themselves in a place where

they ought not to be. How sad! What a weak and pitiful sight.

However, “your place” your place is firstly in God, a place in The Body

of Christ. The Scripture declare that every one of us should be a

member of the body. As a member, each one of us has to fit into the

right place for that member. A hand cannot take the place of the leg. A

foot looks ridiculous at the end of an arm. You have to find out what

kind of member you are so that you will fit into the place that is

appropriate for you. God has “called you”. To be saved is to be called.

There are many Christians who are saved and who do not know their

calling. Find your place because God needs you.

I find my place and my calling in you, Amen.”

Worry is a Waste!

Motivational-famous-quotes-and-sayings

Worry is a waste. Find something better to do.

Worry achieves nothing, and it eats up your precious time. Let go of the worry, and use the time to create some real, meaningful value in your world.

Instead of worrying that the worst things will happen, work to make sure the best things happen. Instead of worrying about whether someone will give you a break, work to put yourself in a position where you don’t need a break.

It’s smart to act on your concerns, but foolish to simply worry about them. The best way out of worry is action, so find something positive you can do instead of letting the worry build.

You have the wonderful ability to act and to make a difference. As such, it makes absolutely no sense to worry.

The next time you feel worry, stop it immediately and start taking action. Whatever may or may not happen, you can turn it into something great.

Its the Same Crime…

image011

A worried woman went to her gynaecologist and said:

‘Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 year old and I’m pregnant again. I don’t want kids so close together.’

So the doctor said: ‘Ok and
what do you want me to do?’

She said: ‘I want you to end my pregnancy, and I’m counting on your help with this.’

The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: ‘I think I have a better solution for your problem. It’s less dangerous for you too.’
She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request.

Then he continued: ‘You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let’s kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we’re going to kill one of them, it doesn’t matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.’

The lady was horrified and said: ‘No doctor! How terrible! It’s a crime to kill a child!’

‘I agree’, the doctor replied. ‘But you seemed to be OK with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution.’

The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point.

He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that’s already been born and one that’s still in the womb. The crime is the same!
