I have Power, Love and a Sound Mind :-)

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

This is so wonderful! That the God of all Grace has eradicated fear from our lives. The day you were Born-Again, the Spirit of Power and Love entered your spirit man. Not only that, in addition you now have a sound mind and the Peace of God: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”John 14:27.

You no longer have to be afraid or troubled. Your life is full of peace and strength. You are full of Power (the dynamic ability to cause changes). Let us look at a verse of Scripture in Romans: “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15.

You are no longer in bondage and you are absolutely free from all fear. Remember that perfect love casts out all fear. “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”1 John 4:18. As you go through your day today, remind yourself that you operate in a Spirit of Love and Power.

Further, that you have a sound mind making sound decisions.

“Yet the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen [you] and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil [one].” (2 Thessalonians 3:3 – Amplified)

The Lord is faithful. He strengthens you with His Awesome Power and protects you from the strategies of the evil one. The Holy Spirit is ever alert and well able to maintain His Covenant Promises, from the Word and make you victorious in every situation. Remember, that God is faithful: “God [is] faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”1 Corinthians 1:9.

Your life in Christ Jesus is strong and set on a firm foundation. Your Heavenly Father has given you new life in Christ Jesus. Jesus prayed that we be kept from the evil one prior to His Crucifiction, Resurrection and Ascension: “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.”John 17:15.

Then when it was all over, from that point we are kept day-by-day by the precious Holy Spirit. The evil one cannot touch you now. You belong to God and He has His stamp of approval and seal on your life. This is the Glorious truth of the Gospel! The Lord continually directs your heart into the Father’s

Love showing you how to trust and walk strongly in and through Him.

colossians 2vs10

“And ye are complete in Him, which is the Head of all principality and power:” (Colossians 2:10)

This is what the Word of God has to say about you and your life. That you are “complete” in Christ Jesus. That you have a nothing missing, nothing broken life and that you are in Him (Christ Jesus) who is the Head of all Principality and Power.

Now let us consider another beautiful verse of Scripture in Ephesians: “Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set [Him] at His own right hand in the Heavenly [places], Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:”Ephesians 1:20, 21.

God gave you “Zoe” Life through Christ. This is the God Kind of Life. He forgave you of all your sins, from the first one to the last one. On your behalf, Jesus disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them through the Cross. When you made Jesus the Lord of your life, He lifted the burden of sin off from your shoulders and made you complete.

So, you have the peace and assurance that you lack no good thing. You are complete in Christ lacking nothing in this life, because the Scripture declares that all things are yours. You are complete in Him.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philipians 4:13)

As you serve the Lord and rejoice, Christ becomes your strength. When a crisis arrives, you are well able to overcome all things. Know that when you find yourself in adverse circumstances; the Lord’s Strength will come on you and cause you to triumph.

You are living and operating in God’s Abundance. In and through every challenge in life, you are more than a conqueror. It does not matter how big or threatening the challenge is, God is for you and not against you!

The secret is this: you can do all things through the Power of Christ that is within you.” With His Anointing, there isn’t a single circumstance that can hold you down in life.

You are self-sufficient in His Sufficiency. You are now satisfied to the point where you are not disquieted or disturbed in life. We speak of human strength, but there is a greater strength than human strength. It is a strength given by the Spirit of God to a Born-Again Child of God. This strength causes you to do supernatural feats that makes you a wonder and an amazement to all those around you. This is your life now, Christ strengthens you, let the Mind of Christ be in you as you journey in life.

As you go about your tasks, His strength will manifest in your life.

I have the Mind of Christ :-)

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus”. (Philippians 2:5)

Now that you are Born-Again, you have the Mind of Christ. The Mind of Christ is a “Word based, Word ruled mind.” This type of mind produces rest: “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Matthew 11:29.

Now that you have the Mind of Christ, you have a new way of thinking. This is the way that you now think and the grounds upon which you act. In Jesus, you have become a partaker of the Divine Nature through the Word of God.

You now use this way of thinking to display God’s Glory and honour. When you have the Mind of Christ, you do not operate in selfish arrogance and bad manners. How can one compete with his brothers and sisters in Christ, and say, “I have the mind of Christ?” You cannot display the character of the devil and then sanction it as Holy. One has to be like-minded with your brothers and sisters in Christ, having the same love and unity of purpose.

You are now mentally disposed in a certain direction. What is this direction? It is the way of God which is His Word. God’s Word contains His thoughts, Will etc. Having the Mind of Christ causes you to be a doer of God’s Word. As you engage your day, remind yourself that you have the Mind of Christ.

The Lord is with you! Therefore, do not allow yourself to become nervous and worried. No matter what situation you find yourself in, your Heavenly Father will intervene on your behalf. When you present your prayers and petitions to Him, with thanksgiving, He causes everything to work together for your good.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27. The peace of God, which is beyond human understanding, guards your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. You should live your life in perfect peace, because He hears your every prayer and covers you with a shield.

He is willing and well able to take care of you. So what do you have to worry about? Let your spirit remain in the ascendancy in your life. Stay in complete control over your thought processes and practice living and functioning in complete peace. At this very moment, you have the very peace of Jesus within your heart. “Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.” (Ephesians 6:2-3)

As you honour your father and mother, you will enjoy a long and satisfied life. This is the first commandment that comes with a Promise. As you do this, it will go well with your life. You will enjoy a long, full and abundant life.

“Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.”Exodus 20:12.

“Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee” Deuteronomy 5:16.

For children (those who are still living under the roof of their parents), you must obey your parents and do as they instruct that is in line with the Word of God. You should not rebel against your parents, but submit to their authority. As you do this, all will go well with you and your life. Man has to co-operate with God. Most Christians push all the responsibility onto God by declaring or referring to His sovereignty. In other words, ‘God knows all things and if there’s anything to do, He will do it.’ The problem with this view is that it releases us of all responsibility.
According to Psalm 8vs6, God Himself put mankind in charge. He does not just interfere with the affairs of earth. He respects the dominion & authority that He has given us. So, God takes action when man asks Him to do so. God goes into action as man (His Church) goes into action. God is connected to man. The thing that connects God with man, is Prayer & Faith. When God moves in a mighty way on the Earth, someone has asked him to. God has given you dominion over all the works of His hands & has put all things under your feet. Begin to take the initiative in your spiritual life & see the turn around. Begin to make decisions as you are led by the Holy Spirit. This is when you will see results.

- Faith Confessions -

“I walk in the light of the presence of Almighty God. He has given me dominion upon the earth in Jesus Name, Amen. “
